We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a respected main contractor on a contract basis for an exciting residential development in Harrow.

This is a 3-month contract opportunity, ideal for a skilled QS with a strong background in social housing or similar residential schemes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost-effective delivery and financial management of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing all costs relating to the residential development project
Overseeing procurement and contract administration
Preparing valuations, payments, and final accounts
Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and the client to ensure smooth project progress

Requirements:

Proven experience working on social housing or residential schemes
Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload on a busy site

Additional Information:

Site-based role: 5 days a week in Harrow
Immediate start preferred
